| Bernie got STUNG! We were out walking and I guess Bernie stepped on a bee He cried so much. I carried him in and luckily my bf was able to remove the stinger. I put ice on it...he's favoring his other foot. I'm sure this has happened to others. Did the pain stop for them after a while? Were they able to walk normally after a while? Thanks YT!

| aww....poor Bernie! I think the ice is a great idea but I think I'd also give him some Benadryl to help with the swelling. That said...I'm not sure of the dosage. I'm sure you could "search" and find the answer. Sure hope he feels better soon!

| He seems to be doing okay now. We munched on some carrots together and then I fed him his dinner. He's resting now, but that's pretty normal, espcially since it is warmer out.

| I Found Harvey With A Big Bumble Bee Yesterday - I Tried To Get It From Him, But He Took Off Running (little Horror....), When I Eventually Got It It Was Dead. I Think It Was Already Dead When He Found It As I Couldnt See A Sting And He Was Fine. I Panicked Though As I Was Afraid He Would Get Stung......... That Definatly Got The Heart Rate Up!

| Poor Bernie and poor you. I'm glad he seems to be doing better now. Even though we want to, we can't protect them from everything. We seem to have some of those white flower clovers in our yard and it scares me to death that Rudy might try to eat a bee if he saw one on the clover flowers.

| Poor little Bernie!! Hope he's feeling better.. Oliver came running into the house screaming like a little girl last summer. Luckily, the bee was stuck in his fur or I wouldn't have known what was wrong. He limped for about an hour and then he was fine. Hope he's all better soon.
