Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Could be many reasons....is he taken from his mom this young? Is he eating? HOw long are the seizures lasting??? Are his gums white? Trying rubbing Kayro on gums...could be hypoglycemia if it is he will come right out of seizures...

| If this 6-week-old is away from his mommy, that's probably why he/she is having seizures. Let us know what's going on if you can! |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | wow...baby seems a bit too young to be away from mamma. I would guess it's hypoglycemia. Hopefully it's that and nothing more. Good luck and your both in our prayers.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Gosh I would google distemper and see if seizures are a symptom of Distemper. Could be coccidia too the puppy needs a fecal exam. Coccidia can take the nutrience from the puppy and leave him having seizures. My vet told me that so I am sure thats true. If the baby has not been in good conditions, drank tainted water, eaten bird poo, it could have coccidia....thats all I can think of....I feel so bad How many seizures is it having?? like clusters (a bunch in a row) or like one a day?? If he is seizing his body temp is probably up and she needs to be cooled down....they take so much out of a baby.....she is probably exhausted......Is the puppy eating ? Drinking??
