Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | will you please keep us posted....I pray she is okay....Even if it is distemper...Not sure if its different then distemper in cats but here is the story anyway.... So I am looking to save a kitten I go to humane society they take me thru and I dont see one can that really screamed save me...I look over and in a incubator like thing is a black kitten SOOOOOOOO tiny and sick....we leave but that cat NEVER left my mind we went to several othe rplaces with kittens and I wanted the black one (glutton for punishment lol) Anyway we went back and they gave me the cat and said good luck (this was 1985, I was 14 i think) So I take the sick kitten to the vet next day vet teached me how to make him go potty by warm wash rag, tells me how to homecook his liquidy food to feed through syringe, and says good luck IF this cat makes it through the night its a miracle. He didnt charge me as I was young and he just knew that kitty was gonna die. Well...he was 5 weeks old (about) and just ounces.....It was October so I called him Pumpkin. In March of 2004 I had to out Punk to sleep at the age of 18. He was 23 pounds in his prime but had windled way down. He was just flat out old and could barely walk but still loved to snuggle and purrrr......My best friend went in the room with me when he was put down....he layed on that table and purred until his last breath.....Anyway...point is I hope its like cat distemper and he can pull through.....lets just pray!
