| I think she needs to go back to the vet. Any time there is blood, and especially at 15 weeks. I would not think she would be anywhere near her period. I would call the vet first thing this morning, and go from there. Good luck! Please keep us posted!

| Maybe you ought to find another vet if you aren't getting a satisfactory response from this one. Three weeks of diarrhea is not good and the blood in it makes it worse. Maybe you know someone with small dogs who can recommend someone. |

| I would look in the phone book, and call around, you can ask them if they see many yorkies, or other small dogs. I agree that its time to find a different vet. Maybe someone here knows a vet in your area and could recommend someone.

| I had always thought blood in the stools meant they had cocciddia or Guardia or something like that. However Chachi had diahrea a few weeks ago and he had blood in it. The vet said it was from him straining to go to the bathroom.

| I dont mknow how they test for it. My vet just put Chachi on an antibiotic for the diahrea and it cleared up. If it wouldnt have the Vet said he would look at it more.

Is this fresh red blood? Or is it old dried dark blood? And is it diareha all the time or does she have any normal stools? And what kind of food are you feeding, and have you done a blood panel or bile acid testing on her yet or how about an xray to see if there is an injury? I think you need to eliminate the easy things first. Now you are sure it is coming from the stool and not the urine?
