| Metronidazole / Flagyl Dosage My 7 lb yorkie (senior) has mild pancreatitis and she's going through a bout. My vet prescribed .75 ml of 250/5 ml - liquid form. Normally she gets .30 of 125 ml /10 ml. Does .75 seem too high? I haven't administered yet. Left a message for the vet, not sure when I'll hear back so figured I'd check out if others had similar experiences with the higher dosages. Thanks! |

| My Tibbe is 7 lb. and he's taken it before but I honestly can't recall his dosage. Maybe give half the prescribed dose on the package until you hear from the vet that the .75 of 250 ml. is what he really intended? That's probably what I'd do in order to get my dog started on his medication. Hope she gets better soon!

| Thanks a million. Thank you!! The vet called and confirmed the dosage. The difference was the 250/50ml vs 125/ml, meaning that the 250 is weaker. I'm still going to play it safe. In my next life I'm going to study pharmacology!! |
