Could this be allergies or something more? My Yorkie has been sneezing, coughing a bit...(but not as much) she seems like she has mucus in her nose and this morning she had (a lot of yellow) mucus in her eyes. She doesnt do it at home as much which is why I am wondering if its allergies. BUT.... Im not sure. Has anyone else had this problem?

Bummer Also her poop has been a little soft. Its not firm and dark like it ussually is. Has anyone had these problems and did you use anything natural to help your yorkie? Again her symtoms are: Yellow Mucus in her eyes(more than usual--and usually its not yellow) Coughing with she's @ my friends house (not constantly) Sneezing Blowing air out of her nose like she has boogers up there. A little less active than usual. (the other day she slept in my lap) Felt a little warm to the touch (but Im not sure if thats normal cause I never noticed her being overly warm until I started being concerned about this stuff) Drinks a little more water than usual (could be cause it was hot, not sure) Does anyone know something natural I could do? My vet is pretty expensive just to do tests and although Im not apposed to test Im not sure if this is something serious enough to get TESTED and poked and prodded... So thanks everyone ahead of time for your advice

| If it were me, I would go to the vet as soon as possible. If it progresses to something like pneumonia, then you will have a much sicker dog on your hands. It will be much more difficult on her, you might lose her, and probably 10 times more expensive than just taking her in and letting the vet have a look-see. At this point, this is probably something that can be diagnosed without tests and fixed with a round of antibiotics.

Thank you Thank you to everyone who was concerned! I was prepared to just assume it was allergies and nothing more because we always want to believe that our furbaby couldnt possibly be really sick. But I desided to take her to the beach and walk her for a moment and she started pooping blood. I freaked out...Called the vet! RUSHED HER THERE!! And he gave her a full blood profile, he had to scoop her toot for poop (for a sample) and finally he said that she had an infection...Her white blood cell count was high(20 something) and she had a temp of 105. So he gave her antibiotics Amoxicillin (15ml) and Metronidazole (250 MG) My poor furbaby... I hope she doesnt poop blood again. That freaked me out. I hope her temp goes away soon...Im not sure what else to do so I got her some cool water to drink for now. You know on humans you can just wipe their heads and body with rubbing alcohol or cool water but with dogs...its a bit different. I think I just have to wait for the antibiotics to kick in. Keep my izzaboo in your prayers.

Hi Guys! Thanks for everyone who was concerned... I appreciate the LOVE! Earlier izzabella went out to potty..and she pooped bloody poop! OMG! I was freaking out!! This has NEVER happened EVER! So rushed her to the VET!! He did a full blood profile on her, checked her temp (it was 104!!) And scooped for poop in her toot (I didnt have the bloody poop sample with me, gross) And my poor little furbaby took it like a champ. She was so good. Doctor said she did not have pancretitis, but she did have a high white blood cell count and infection. He prescribed Amozicillin and metronidazole for her. She is resting now and I am praying that she feels better soon.
