| Is there an emergency after-hours vet you could call? All I have heard is to feed them too so it will cushion and move the glass through the intestines. But I would not want to say definately do that and wait til morning there. I would want to hear from a vet. Hope it was a very small piece! Wish you the best with this and hope your little one is okay. They will eat anything. LOL -- Blancla -- we posted the same idea at the same time -- it must be right!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have heard about the bread too. I would at least try and get a vet on the phone if none are open for a visit. Was it a small piece and are you sure she ate it? Mine have scared me before thinking they ate something and then I find it later. I hope that is the case.

| Happend to us Our Lab pup ate a christmas ball ornament and just like the above post, we have her cotton balls dunked in cream. It worked and she was just fine. You could try the Pet Poison control number too! They might be quicker than a vet, but definitely call the vet also! Good Luck! |

| My little one ate a glass Christmas ornament two months after he had stomach surgery for a blockage. I was a wreck. I gave him white bread (wonder bread) which he ate and everything came out OK. My friend's dog ate a wooden spoon and the vet said to give her dog white bread and her dog was Ok too,. But these little guys really give us a scare when they get into things that they shouldn't. Hope your pup is OK. |

| My little maltese ate glass one time and my Vet told me to feed him lots of bread. I was a nervous wreck but everything turned out fine.

| Ugh I cant imagine feeding them cotton balls. I would have to agree with either metamucil, bread, or better yet my all time favorite pumpkin puree, home made only. Can is ok in a pinch. Please always talk to the ER or your vet first and foremost. I would favor the pumpkin. Keeping your little one in my prayers, I hope all comes out safetly in the end with no trauma. God Bless your little one
