Since that time I have asked two vets if they ever heard of such a thing. The looks I got for that one...hah! I had to tell them that I was ONLY asking...not that I would ever do such a thing. OP....I hope everything will be fine with your pupster! ![]()

| ![]() sorry it has taking me so long to get back to everyone! shes ok thank god! she got an xray but the vet couldnt see anything ( they didnt expect to because it was glass) and because she was still just being her normal usual self they gave her stuff to protect her insides. the glass has not came out the other end yet but she is eating and pooing normally and seems happy! she gave me such a fright! thanks again for all your comments! claire and trouble maker masie ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | ![]() Glad she is doing well and now I know what to do if Poppy ever gets into a situation like this, so thank you. How is she now and has she passed the glass? they sure do scare us sometimes.

| ![]() Thank goodness your little one is OK! We had a similar scare with our little Houston once with a glass Christmas ornament...seems he and the cat didn't like the decorations. We checked online and saw that "cotton ball" thing but opted for the ER vet instead (since they can never do these things during business hours), she did x-rays, and like yours saw nothing (glass), but recommended rice, hoping that any small glass would stick to it through passing. She was worried with the size of ours about the cotton ball becoming stuck, he was only 4 pounds at the time and a puppy still. First and foremost, however, always seek the treatment of a vet first, this was just our situation. |

| ![]() I hope the best for your little one... I was told once that cheese is a good one too... will make their stool stiff and protect their internal organs when processing. I personally have not experienced it so I am not sure of how well it works. Hope all is ok. fingers crosse and prayers. |
