| Chloe sick...vomiting and shaking. Yesterday evening Chloe wasn't feeling good. It happened all of the sudden, she wouln't come to me when called, didnt want to play with her toys. Right after she ate she threw up and was shaking like crazy. This went on for about 1-2 hours. I went online and read a few of the post here, I gave her a li'l bit of sugar in her water. She drank that and a li'l more regular water. She went poop and it looked normal, a few small branch like things in her stool, but it wasn't like diarreah. 30 minutes later, from when I gave her the water with sugar she was back to normal...does anyone know what could have cause this? Should I call the vet? She was her self this morning, but I'm just not sure what caused it.... chloe's momma |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Sounds like a hypoglycemic episode (low sugar) to me. I would have Nutrical on hand at all times for these situations. You can search "Hypoglycemia" or "Nutrical" on here, and you will get tons of posts about them. How old is your baby? Did she eat anything yesterday?

| You can find Nutrical at most pet stores (PetSuppliesPlus carries it for sure). It comes in a tube (kind-of like a toothpaste tube). You use a dollup and rub it on their gums/roof of the mouth if they won't just eat it themselves. It has vitamin, nutrients and glucose in it. Does your pup have kibble down all day? A young pup should be free-feeding throughout the day. A dollup of Nutrical before you leave for work and before bedtime will help keep her sugar in check. Definitely sounds like a hypoglycemic episode. Let us know what the vet says.

| yeah she has food available all day, she's eating natural balance and i tend to mix it with cesar since she also had kennel cough about 2 weeks ago, to make it easier for her to eat it. I will def get some Nutrical today. I will call the vet and hopefully is nothing serious, I will keep you all posted thank you so much for all ur advice. |
