Cry About to take Boo-Boo to EMERGENCY!

I am so sorry everyone, but I am here to ask for some prayers again but this time for Boo-Boo!

As some of you know Boo-Boo has liver shunt, which we discovered about 1 year and 4 months ago. He has been doing very well on his special diet and he hasn't had a seisure for more than a year now. But for about 3 days he hasn't been doing very well. In the beginning I thought he was a little bit under the weather as he gets like that from time to time. But yesterday I took him with me to my hubby's office because I was afraid to just leave him home. He looked a bit better there altho he was very lethargic. But today in the morning when I woke up I open the doors so I can let them both out to do their business but Boo-Boo didn't even move from the bed and I had to pick him up and put him outside. Unfortunately I had to put him outside and leave him to have a wee without supervision as I had to prepare Alex's milk as he was crying cause he was hungry. So I am not sure if he even had a wee. So when I went to open the door poor thing was walking so slowly and he didn't even wanted to climb the stair, so I picked him up myself and put him on the bed again but I wanted to caress him and I touched his tummy and he was crying and last night he was vomiting so bad lots of yellow stuff. This was around 4 am.
Now I need to wait till 9 and take him in.
I am so sorry this was so long but please say some prayers for him I am soooooooooo scared I don't know what planet I am living on.
Thanks

Maria

It sounds as if the time has come to let him go. He's must be suffering. I've had a couple of dogs in somewhat the same situation and kept them comfortable at home as long as possible, but the wait is excruciating for them. My last dog got so he could not get around and he was too big and too heavy for me to lift in and out of the house or car. So I had my husband help me lift him into the car for his last ride to the vet. He couldn't get out there without our help either or walk when he got into the office. I asked that the vet please put him to sleep as he was in such pain and distress. He passed away very peacefully. I am so glad that I could do this to end his suffering. Sometimes persevering is crueler than ending their suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Boo Boo.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. They really mean a lot to us, more than you could ever know.

Well we went in the morning but the vet was closed so we had to go back at 11:00. My hubby was the only one that went as Alex discovered he likes the sound of his voice so he screams all the time and then he smiles. So only my hubby went to take Boo-Boo in, and he just called me. They kept him in the hospitals and put him on IV's, his temperature is throught the roof and is also very dehidrated. Because his tummy hurst at the touch they want to do tests over the weekend(which is good for vets here in the UK as they don't want to do anything over the weekend usually)
She thinks it might have something to do with his liver shunt altho' she's not sure before the test results will come back, but if that is the case they want us to transfer him to Bristol University where they specialise in liver shunt. That is the place that we went to when Boo-Boo had the liver shunt surgery done. Thank you so much for the prayers, please keep us in your thoughts.

Maria
