| Severe Pancreatitis, Charlie needs Prayers! Our Yorkie Charlie was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis. The doctors say he is not really responding to treatments. It has been 2 days so far. They are keeping him for another three days. They are hoping he starts to show signs of improving. Charlie is 4 years old and weighs 25lbs. We are hoping he fights through this. Does anyone here have any situations where their Yorkie might have been through something similar? Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please say a little pray for Charlie. MySpace Brian |

| Our thoughts and prayers go out to poor Charlie. Yes, we have been through the whole hospital thing with our Sammy, several times in fact. We learned slow and hard not to feed Sammy anything "human" or spicy or out of the ordinary. Our guy almost died too. It's a tough row to hoe but hopefully Charlie will be feeling great soon.

| Update Charlie Lipase levels are still over 6,000. They gave him a plasma treatment and he responded favorably to this. His is looking a lot more responsive. The Doctor, who is an internal medicine specialist, said that Charlie has fluid around his pancreas. If the fluid does not better by tomorrow they will have to perform surgery. We visited Charlie last night and he was heavily sedated. He seemed a little better. We took him for a walk and he responded to that pretty well. Hopefully the little guy can bounce back soon and come home. That is the toughest part, being without him. Thank you for your responses and prayers. Charlie is still not out of the woods so please keep him in your thoughts. Updates to follow. Thank you everyone for your time. Brian |

| Brian, I'm so sorry he's having such a tough time! We'll continue praying for him and it sounds like you've got a pretty good vet, thank goodness. Poor little guy. I know it's got to be so hard for you~ hope he'll get better without surgery and that he can come home soon!
