| i haven't been here for a while.. i know you guys need an update! my baby was the one with elevated kidney values.. for the whole time i fed him lots of water.. and lots of veggies and fruits.. he seems to like pears and banana.. and when i went to go take him back.. he was fine.. so they did the neuter last friday.. i was a wreck at the time.. but they actually called when it was over to let me know he's fine.. and guess what??? he was back to normal after a good night sleep!! no pain medication needed or anything!!! lucky me |

| I'm glad your baby did well!! I just want to mention that bananas are not recommended for dogs with kidney problems because they are high in potassium. There is a supplement called Azodyl/Vetoquinol that helps with elevated kidney values. You may want to ask your vet about this and see if it would be of benefit for your baby.
