| Stephanie... I saw that you carry the CC products and thought I would check out your site. I have some feedback, as well as something to point out to other YTers. I hate running into stuff like this. www.retail4wholesale.com "Unbeatable prices on Chris Christensen Grooming Products" I was a bit blown away. You could have saved me four bucks on my gold series pin brush, and you could have saved me a couple of dollars on my Ice on Ice concentrate. Sound good? Keep reading.... I was really impressed with alot of your price breaks, some only being $0.05 and some being many dollars! But I have to tell ya, your Ice on Ice listing was a bit far fetched. (I know, I just bought it last week. I also have the CC Cataloge here at my desk.) I found it almost dishonest. For that reason alone I would not shop at a sight such as this one. You had the retail price as $56.95 and your price as $33.95 That sounds like a savings of $23.00 Wow! Thats great! Right? Wrong! The real price of this product is $37.00. So in reality a customer is realizing a savings of $3.05. Which, by the way, is a nice bit of change if you ask me! I don't see the need to go cray with the wild claims of $23.00 savings! Its just not honest business. Its pretty easy to tout unbeatable prices when you are working with such unrealistic markups. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I'd rather pay a bit more and support a business that I feel good about.

| in response to Kathryn Kathryn, Feel free to contact Chris Christensen and ask them what they state the retail price of the Ice On Ice Concentrate is. Hey, better yet, if you have a fax machine I'll go ahead and fax it to you so you can see that every single one of my stated retail prices are exactly what is on the order sheet given to me BY Chris Christensen. Anyway, feel free to support whatever business you'd like, be it mine or someone else's. I sell a TON of CC products and will continue to do so with or without your support. Just make sure though, that other company that you might feel comfortable doing business with, charges actual door to door shipping and doesn't have extra charges that do nothing but put money in the owners product. Thanks though! Stephanie |

Steph: Out of curiosity, can you explain what you mean by this statement. I am NOT starting an argument or anything it's really out of curiosity. CC products are heavy and the shipping is pretty steep. Priority mail shipping for me sometimes exceeds the amount that the customer has paid...what extra charges could possibly be incurred for these items? |

| Absolutely! There are many businesses, including ones I've dealt with personally, that will tack on huge dollar amounts in their shipping fees. I became incredibly aware of this once I opened my own business and saw what it truly costs to ship something. Yes, you are correct, the liquids can be incredibly heavy, especially the gallon sizes BUT all my products that can fit in the flat rate priority mail box will be shipped in that. I could stuff 12 pounds of liquids in there if need be and my customers will only have to pay the flat rate of $8.10. I always weigh my items and charge exact door to door UNLESS the flat rate box is cheaper. If the charge is less, door to door, than the flat rate, that is what they get charged. If it's more, it goes in the flat rate box and they actually save a TON of money on shipping. I eat the shipping costs that I have to pay to get the items from CC. I don't always order over their free shipping amount as I do so much business with them that they allow me to buy 1/2 cases. I also don't tack on any "handling" fees for my time of taking boxes to the post office and standing in line. I run a business and that is what you do when you run a business. My customers should not have to foot the bill for my time. I don't tack on extra money to cover my ink cartridge in my printer for printing out shipping labels or my costs for paper. No business was name directly, but it is a fact that many online businesses charge way more than they should for shipping in order to make their profit even higher. Stephanie |

| So much does go into factoring what a shipping cost is. There are so many variables such as printing cost and supplies and many other things that I won't bore people with. I am imagining stuffing 12 # of product into a shipping box and it's not a pretty picture! I'm not sure my customers would be pleased with that landing on their doorsteps. Anyway, this isn't about business practices, it is about the wonderful quality of these grooming products that I for one feel lucky to share with people. |

| I am sorry I did not mention who I ordered from in my previous post. That was purely an oversight on my part and not intentional. I order from www.ChrisSystems.com Their number is (800) 654-7006 This was my last order: Items Ordered: ------------------------------------------------------ Item Number: 012 Item Name: BUTTERCOMB ALL FINE 4/12" Options: Quantity: 1 Price: 20.00 Unit Subtotal: 20.00 ------------------------------------------------------ Item Number: 052 Item Name: ICE ON ICE 16 OZ. CONCENTRATE Options: Quantity: 1 Price: 37.00 Unit Subtotal: 37.00 ------------------------------------------------------ Item Number: A020G Item Name: 20MM GOLD SERIES PIN BRUSH Options: Quantity: 1 Price: 32.00 Unit Subtotal: 32.00 ------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ Order Subtotal: $89.00 Shipping: $7.00 Sales Tax: $0.00 Grand Total: $96.00 So the shipping was not bad in my opnion. It arrived in two days and was very nicly packaged. It also contained a full color 2006 Catalog that has the Clean Start in it. A gallon is only $35.00, not bad! And after reading the great reviews, I might have to try it! 16oz is only $8.00. I am just on of those shoppers that does not need to see inflated prices and big markdowns to make me think I am getting a good deal. I know a good thing when I see it. its a product that does what it says it will at a fair price. And from a source that I know I can count on to be there for me when I need more! I was not trying to offend you Stephanie, just offer you my personal feedback as part of the money spending public. As a business owner, I thought you might value the insight.... Take it at face value. I am not trying to offend, just inform.

| Response to Gerry You are right, it's not about shipping but you asked for a response to what I posted. I eat a lot of costs for my customers that a lot of business owners don't. I know how expensive it can be owning (and showing) dogs. I'm not out to be a millionaire by any means, I'm just out to offer needed products and great prices! Owning a furry family member shouldn't break the bank!! Stephanie |

| To Kathryn I did not take any offense to your post because I know what Lisa Christensen says is the suggested retail price for their products. I also know what you can expect to pay for these products if you happen to go to a dog show and purchase them directly. You are more than welcome to your opinion, but nothing is misleading on my website and I have the proof to back it up. So, you can continue to say that I am misleading my customers, but the $1200 in CC sales per month says otherwise! I much fairer and much more honest with my business and dealing with my customers than others are. Good luck to you! Stephanie |

| To Gerry You're welcome. And, for your customers, you should really consider using the flat rate boxes. Each 16 ounce bottle is one pound of weight for the USPS. You could save your customer so much money buy using the flat rates boxes ( by the way, the square size even fits the 64oz containers). I tape all my lids so that nothing comes open or spills. My customers truly appreciate that I go out of my way to save them money on shipping such heavy products. The boxes are free from the USPS, they will deliver them to your doorstep and they will even pick them up from your door step (for free) if you have more than one box going out. Just helpful advice because I'm always willing to help anyone and everyone!! :-) Stephanie |

I am not followinng you Stephanie.... "I also know what you can expect to pay for these products if you happen to go to a dog show and purchase them directly." I have Purchaced CC at shows and have not found the price to be higher than what I am paying now, if anything, I get better pricing at the shows. I Kicked myself for not buying my brushes at the show I attended in Feb. The gal had priced the pin brushes and the combs as sets and you could pick which ones you wanted... It would have saved me like 7 dollars total... Not huge, but still seven bucks! Plus, I would have had my brushes much sooner! I just love them! I did, however, buy Day to Day and Ice on Ice, both for about what I am paying now. I also went nuts at the Plush Puppy booth! Yikes! Anyway... I just don't follow the claims.... Sorry. Maybe in another state??? I'm located in California... And here in California.. If it looks like a duck.... and it sounds like a duck.... chances are.... its a duck!

| Thank you for the advice! I do get the packing supplies from usps. I am happy to continue offering the shipping method and pricing that I have done. I do offer reasonable shipping, comparable, or below, to what other online boutiques offer. I am fine with this because I am in more of an upscale market. |
