| I tried cutting back to 2 meals per day when Max was full grown, but he insisted on having 3. It works better for both my boys to have their daily intake spread out instead of 2 large meals.

| Mine are fed twice a day. My husband feeds them when he gets up for work every morning and I feel them in the early evening.

| 3 times per day, but not equal amounts each time. I divide the daily serving in half: she gets half at breakfast, 2/3 of the other half at dinner, then the lil 1/3 of the half at night.

| Three because there is too much volume for her to have just two... Kibble for a healthy adult would be 2x daily or free fed here.

| I always free fed, but Baby was just getting fatter and fatter and sometimes Bug would be a bit of a bully when the newbies were trying to eat, so we started feeding everybody twice a day. Well, Baby continued putting on weight and they would sometimes play around instead of buckle down and eat on that second meal, soooo, we've now dropped down to one meal a day and they are all doing just fine on that. Who knew? All six of them from the 85 pounder all the way down to the smallest one are doing great on one meal per day, served in the early afternoon. The rescues have filled out nicely, Baby is slowly starting to pare down, everybody is healthy and no one acts as if they are starving. We feed Blue grain free. Baby is extremely sedentary compared to everyone else....

| I usually feed 2x a day and they get treats throughout the day. I've started giving the carrots and other veggies as Hot Rod has a tendency to put on weight easily. If they don't finish their meals, I sometimes will leave their food down.

| Generally, I only feed once a day. It's just what has worked for us. Jackson rarely seems hungry in the mornings but he does have kibble out for him 24/7 so it's available if he truly wants some.... but his actual "dinner" comes around 6pm which is kibble and wet food mixed (or whatever leftovers are in our fridge, chicken, steak, etc). The only time he gets breakfast is the pre-made raw food. I get Stella & Chewy's and about 3x a week, he gets a patty or two for breakfast. He eats that up like a champ! He's still never interested in the early morning though... the earliest he will eat is usually 10am. If he gets a lot of activity during the day (sometimes we'll go on a 2 hour walk around 11:30am) sometimes I'll give him half of his dinner early, and then the other half around 7pm. Sorry for the long post, haha. I kind of mix it up I guess and base it off of his activity level for the day, if he seems hungry, or whatever. Oh, and treats. Yeah, he gets sort of a lot of treats. I've been using "Canz Real Meat" treats (you can get on amazon) they are really soft and small and easy to break into tiny pieces though so maybe he doesn't get all THAT much... I also buy those cheese sticks from the grocery store to use occasionally since he goes crazy for those or I use real chicken. He is 16lbs and gets 1/2 cup of kibble with a tablespoon or so of wet food.

| We are two-timer a day household here and some veggie or natural goodie snacks very sparingly given during the day.

| Maybe you could just cut down the amount you are feeding and still do the twice a day thing. I feel like once a day is so long for them to go without food. Or for treats you could try pieces of apples or carrots which are filling but won't cause them to gain weight. Just a thought

| I free feed Natural Balance Sweet potato and venison dry kibble. Out of my 4 yorkies, none are overweight and I have no food aggression at my house, we are very lucky.
