| Has your Yorkie ever had a seizure? Question: Has your Yorkie experienced a seizure? And a second question, for those of you who have experience breeding or showing your Yorkies...do you think paying for a "higher quality" Yorkie would have a lesser chance of your Yorkie experiencing seizures and other health related issues? Just trying to see if paying more for a puppy from "show parents" would equal to a healthier Yorkie. |

| I don't think you can do anything to gauarantee a dog from having seizures. Most vets will tell you that mixed breed dogs are "in general" healthier that purebred or show dogs. Show breeders do a lot of in breeding and line breeding sometimes, but I have never see the result of any scientific studies regarding this. Good question. |

both girls have not had one health problem aside from a case of coccidia the first week Chanel was with us and that came from the breeder - other than that - They are just perfect. I have 2 VERY VERY healthy girls - Chanel is in such great health that every time my vet saw her when she was younger he was just in love - he encouraged me to breed her - he loved her temperment and body shape so much he would try to talk me into it. | |

| Bitsy had a seizure when she got eclampsia and it was the scariest thing I have ever seen with any of my dogs.
