| How to Cope We are seniors, just last week we lost our love of almost 14 years. Nikkii, our beloved Yorkie, girl went across the rainbow bridge to be with her other friends. She was a part of our life and can not ever be re-placed.We cry every day and night at bed time, she slept with us all of her life.GOD,we miss her. We will get another yorkie girl puppy to ease the hurt.We are too old to try to bear the pain without help. God bless you Nikki, for makeing two old folks so happy for 14 years!! |

| I'm so sorry for your loss! I know how much it hurts to lose a pet after so many years (my family dogs both lived to be 13/14 years of age). I hope you find your new baby girl - You'll have so much fun raising a puppy again and making new memories! Good luck finding your new furbaby! OH, and

| I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Lacy after 13 years also. It is very hard and we all understand the pain you are going through. I got a new puppy right away and it really made it so much easier. A new puppy takes so much time and energy you don't have time to feel sad. They never take the place of the one we lose, but they do put happiness back in our lives and smiles on our faces. |

| I am so sorry!!! Are you considering another? Maybe adopting an older one that needs rehoming would be something to consider. I know this wont be easy to get over. Just don't forget to smile at some of those great memories.

| I am so sorry for your loss. You both must be devastated. Try to remember the 14 years she made you so happy. Another baby will help to ease the pain, but will never replace your Nikki. I hope you find just what you are looking for. Welcome to YT.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is like losing a child. You will never replace your Nikkii, who would want to? Each baby is special in their own way. A new baby will fill part of the void. Without realizing it, we give so much love, attention and care to our little fur babies that when they are gone, we feel like we are no longer needed. A new baby will fill that void for you. I suggest you visit rainbowsbridge.com, and post a few times at the support group there (there is no charge). In a week or two, when you feel ready, start your search for your new baby. You need some time to grieve in a healthy way. We are here for you.

| Healing Takes Time My heart really goes out to you because I too lost my precious Yorkie girl. My Katie Lyn is also at the Rainbow Bridge and believe me when I say that not a day goes by when I do not miss her and think of her. It really does take time to heal your broken hearts. Maybe like you said, getting another precious baby will help you both heal. Your little angel would never want you to grieve. She know how much you both loved her and how much more love you have to give to another little baby. So share that love and remember that each time you do, each time you kiss your new baby and each time you caress her little face, your precious Nikki will be looking down on you and smiling. God bless you both and may he help you heal. Dedicated To Nikki … Rainbow Bridge's Newest Angel Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author Unknown

| My heart goes out to you. I know how big of a hole it leaves in your heart. It takes a long, long time to come to terms with the loss of these little babies.
