I am sorry to hear of your loss. I just recently lost my yorkie. Hard to believe it has been just a little over two weeks. I also found this site because of her loss. The people here have wonderful very supportive. I have asked alot of questions about finding another yorkie and the response has been overwhelming. I am glad that you found this forum. I know how much it has helped me and while we can not ease your pain we can help you go through it. This is a place that you are not alone. Muriel

Muriel,s loss Thank you so much for your kind words,Nikki has been over the bridge now for three weeks. Today we got her little box and remains. We cried some more,we trust things will get a little better. This week-end,hopefully,we will bring Poppy, a 12 week Yorkie girl into our lives. God will help you to get through your loss. This site has really been good to us. Thanks for your note, people like you are needed in this world. Dale & Marilou Gocken Centralia,Wa.

We are keeping one of the girls and she has so many of Reggie's traits that it's uncanny. At first I thought it was just wishful thinking but with each week that passes, I can see my Reggie through Babe' Love. I am so happy that you are not waiting to get a new addition. She will never replace what has been lost but will help you focus on the future. I'm sure Reggie and Nikki will be best of friends.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I agree with everyone who says it's like losing a child. The first time I lost a dog (a sheltie several years ago), I couldn't understand why I was so depressed, it was just a dog, right? But he wasn't just a dog. He was a huge part of our lives, every single day. He was a MEMBER of our family... so it truly was like losing a family member...and we mourned the loss for many months. I still feel sad when I think about our little Popeye. I hope that you can focus on all the wonderful memories you have with your yorkie baby! I hope I'm priveleged enough to keep Phoebe (who's only 14 weeks) for 15 years! God bless you both.... debbie
