| Stress relief What do you all do for a good stress reliever? Sometimes I find like piano music or listening to waterfalls relaxes me. Tonight I have been really stressed out I guess. I don't really feel to bad but my pulse is right at 100 and I haven't really moved much. It's unusual because my blood pressure medicine usually brings it really low, a few weeks ago I was in the 40's. I guess my body is trying to tell me something cause I'm on fire. What's something that could relax me?

I do have high blood pressure and heart problems run in my family. I haven't been diagnosed with anything but I went to the doctor not that long ago and they said I may have mitral valve prolapse or plerisy (sp). My chest isn't hurting like it had been on that visit though when she said it may be plerisy. My aunt has plerisy and my mom has high b/p and mitral valve prolapse, also my dad has high b/p.

| Prayer/meditation & breathing exercises always helps me. I also use relaxing teas & rescue remedy when I'm very stressed out - it really calms me down.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I throw my iPod on and go for a walk, particularly in the evening when it's not burning hot! It lets me clear my head. A soak in the tub or a good, long shower help. And a cup of hot tea -- with a shot of Amaretto -- has been known to work wonders. |
