| What kind of.... birth control do you take? I am taking Loestrin 24 and I have been noticing that my skin has been real sensitive, almost a tingle, esp. in my breasts. Is it normal for birth control to do that to you?

| the level of hormones might be too high for you. you should tell your doctor and they can change to a lower dose. i usd to be on ... oh i can't think of the name right now because it has been so long.... Alesee i think?? ne ways it was giving me problems so my doctor just switched me to a loser dose... Marvelon 28... and it's been about 3 years.. no problems.. you just gotta keep trying till you find one you like. Usually they will give you a trial pack before they write you a prescription... well at least in Canada anyways.... |

| I take the depo provera. I cant take pills because I have a digestive disease and who knows if the pill is going to digest. Cant take the patch Im allergic to tapes. I get the shot every 3 months, havent had a period in 3 years, which is good because I always got very sick when my period came. Downside I did gain weight.

| My friend takes the one where you only have the period 4x a year. I don't know the name of it, but she says she had not had any problems with it.

| I'm on Yasmin and really like it. I switched 2 years ago to Levlen b/c even with my insurance at the time Yasmin was $35 vs $10/month, but it was not worth saving the money and I switched back after only a few months. My face was really sensitive and swollen and broke out like like crazy and I never break out ever. It was so bad I started researching different pills online and that one (Levlen) had a high androgen level- which can make you break out. Here is a site with that info http://www.wdxcyber.com/ncontr13.htm (it is the chart to the right). |

Sorry I am no help.. I have not been on any in a LONG time. It took us a while to get preg But if you are having trouble with the one you are on now.. You should tell your Dr. and he can either lower what you are taking you now or change it. | |

| I take Ortho tri cyclen lo and I really like it. I really don't have any side effects and I barely get my period now! I would love to only get it 4 times a year though. Some people are talking about the pill that makes you not have it at all. How crazy would that be?!!!
