| Photo Editing Software I know that some people on here use photo editing softwares to enhance and fix their photos and do cool things with them. What do you guys use? I am trying to find a software that I can use. Please let me know what you all use. |

| I use Photoshop for customization. It's a little more advanced than your average PhotoEditing software that comes with cameras or something, but it's nice because you can do your own things. There are also some that have frames. All you have to do is click on it and it ll put cute frames around your pictures. Here's a picture editor and it's completely free! This one has filters and photo effects that you can use. http://www.download.com/StudioLine-P...-10401594.html |

| I also use Photoshop CS2 however, photography is my thing. I don't "play" with all my images . . . they would have to invent way more hours in the day before I could do that. Photoshop Elements isn't bad either. Elements came with my digital SLR cameras.

| CartersMom, is there a good digital camera that can capture fast action shots? I'm a point and shot kinda girl but with my son getting older I'd love to be able to get some good shots at ball games and also good shots of Bo playing.

| I use Photoshop and Imageready CS....you can't get any better than that, in my opinion...the possibilities are endless.

If you think your son will play sports throughout his school years, I would invest into a Canon Digital Rebel with a decent zoom lens or a Canon 20D. Bite the bullet and you won't regret it! I advised my sister to do the same and now she has all the parents purchasing action shots of their kids from her!

| Thanks for all the replies. I am going to try the free software that natalie suggested. Hopefully it works. I might also use Adobe Photoshop Elements because I think we have it. It's on another one of our computers. I just forgot about it. By the way, my stepdad has a Canon Digital Rebel camera and I love it! It takes awesome shots and there is so much you can do with it, especially since he has 3 lenses to zoom in farther. Thanks for all the replies. |

Definitely agree. Photoshop amazes me more and more every time I use it. The possibilities really are endless. The whole suite is quite expensive, but you can find "editions" of it on the internet! There's what I call a "knock off" of Photoshop- Gimp, I think it's called. I think it has many of the same features, but isn't as glamorous (the program design). Since I have Photoshop CS2, I notice a big difference, but if you've never used PS CS2 you'll like the program. I believe that's free also. I'd try googling it. | |
