Kathryn,
I just wanted to tell you that you are the best! Your products are great and your service is superior. I have ordered from you and will continue to do so. You sure know how to spoil your customers.
As for the other stuff you posted about I don't know anything about it but you should be proud of what you do no matter what. I hope Admin can help you work this out. Your loyal customers are in your corner.
Margaret

This is for anyone who hasn't ordered from Kathryn. I don't know her at all so this is completely unbiased. I have ordered from her several times now.

Her shipping is FAST. She is in CA and I live in IL and I get my stuff in 2-3 days. I have NO IDEA how she does it because the post office doesn't usually work that fast. She must go to the Post Office the second they open!

Her packaging is adorable. Everything is wrapped in tissue paper like a gift. She put Sammy's hair bows and clips in a jewelry box and then wrapped the box with tissue. And she always sticks something special in - a pen, a pixie stick, etc.

She responds to your emails and she helps you figure out what sizes you need.

Try getting ANY of that on ebay or anywhere else. Even if they have good customer service and ship your stuff out, everything I order just comes dumped in a box. I've even gotten things from very popular *discount* places that are all dusty and dirty and look like they rolled under the shelf in the warehouse and that's the one they decided to send me.

I don't mind if people point out deals, but sometimes I feel like some people on here resent the fact that some of us can buy at wholesale and they can't. If anything is marked up even 50% to cover the costs of running a business people will complain and run to some unknown seller on ebay. Yes, if you want to pay $25 for 50 hair bows from Pet Edge, then go ahead. But be aware that their minimum order is $60 or they charge you a $7 surcharge. Then their shipping isn't super cheap. So it's more like $40 for 50 bows, and then half of the bows you get will be crunched or falling off the barrette. Oh, and a whole bunch of them are probably not the color you want! Plus, WHO NEEDS 50 BOWS? So in the end, $2 a bow is completely reasonable!!! PetEdge is great for consumers who just got a puppy and need to stock up on hundreds of dollars worth of Kongs and other essentials like gates, crates, ex-pens and other pricey items. They are nice enough to let people order from them without a business license, so I hope you all appreciate that and stop coming back with posts saying "This is so overpriced they only paid 1.99 at Pet Edge and they are selling it for $4!!!" Because, yes, if you would like to buy a case of them, then you can also buy them for $1.99. And I'm fine with that. But please just understand that if you need to create a website, pay for packing materials, quit your job to stay home and run your business, etc. you NEED to charge $4. That guy charging $3 on ebay isn't sitting at home all day waiting to rush your package out the door. And I bet you anything HE padded the shipping.

I don't mean to rant, I just feel like I need to explain that.

Ditto!! I've ordered twice, and when I participated in the gift exchange, I got some of the same wonderful products I got for myself from Kathryn for my GE buddy. The pixie sticks she has are the best price around and the perfect size for yorkies. I'm in CA too, so both times I ordered, I got my stuff the next day!! You can't beat that! She always answers her emails right away too.

I have to say I dont know KathrynV and have no idea who the problem is with but I do have to say that I love it when someone posts the great buys & good deals they have found online. I don't buy much for my dogs other than food & a few bows but I do think that with the price of everything these days, any time someone can help me save a few dollars, I appreciate it. Unless someone is rude or obscene, I don't think we should be censoring their posts. Like I said, I don't know any of the persons involved and hope I haven't offended anyone. My post is just my opinion.

Anyways, Kathryn keep up the good customer service and you should have nothing to worry about we all love ya...

Like THAT has never happened. I didn't say she was doing that, I just said I HOPE she wasn't because it wouldn't be the first time someone has posted a thread to get people to order stuff. There is nothing wrong with trying to find a bargain when we spend so much, and if this mystery person is really trying to know Kathryn down, then she should contact admin about it so something can be done about it.

Hi Kathryn,
I'm new here and I already feel like that!
I also make dog apparel for small breeds and understand what you are saying completely. When someone puts their ad up right after yours, it's like a slap in the face. Luckily though Kathryn, there is and always will be, people out there that want homemade. The people that want that extra tender, love and care,...that special touch. Not everyone ones MASS PRODUCED look alikes. If that's what they want, then let them have it. You'll always get the nicest most sincere people drawn to your business, not people looking to save a buck or two.

Like you, I also strive to get the 'best' quality materials but just can't possibly compete with apparel made by machine, (not regular sewing machines), places that hire slave labour or huge industries.
What I like the most about my business are my customers. They are personable, loyal, interesting, and descent people. I wouldn't want to be dealing with all the people trying to save their pennies, so cheer up and know that the right people are being drawn to your business and by the comments left by your customers, I wouldn't give that kind of love & support away for anything. You don't get that in big business!!!!

Hey !! I'm one of those people who needs to watch what I spend !

I fully support the YT Vendors that post here but will say this - we sure seem to have alot of people coming here strictly to sell and not interact with the site and those are the ones I skip over - NOT meaning anyone in this thread - it's ONLY AN OBSERVATION .....but there are sooooooo many people selling now I only see problems in the future. I think maybe YT heeds to re-do some rules for vendors....We have so many Members/venders that have been here a long time and put lots of work into their stores it just seems like a free for all now.

I'm not crazy about the NO Bump Rule but do wish we had a minimum post count or something...then maybe problems will be avoided.
