| Well... I guess that means that Our member Jen now has the worlds smallest dog! LOL she's only 1lb and 2 ozs! And she eats like a horse! No worries about her eating herself to death! She's a little Hoover with the metabolism of a humming bird! She tears a$$ around the house too... Scares the crap out of me... she has NO fear! That little yorkie looked a bit sickly to me..... Anyone else see frail when they look at that pic? Check out this pick I took of cali when I was in NY with my hubby and we were staying with Jen.... Cali's pics are at the bottom.... http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?use...8&ctime=121834 here is one more of Cali http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?use...6&ctime=082016 Ok... not quite the yorkie... but I just had to sneak some cali picks in somewhere... and I do believe that at her weight... she might be in the running! LOL

| On the Oprah Show earlier this week she had the smallest dog on as a guest. It was a cute little Chihuahua. She had the owner take the little ones' dress off so everyone could see how little she was. Very cute. I don't think they said the weight or size of this Chihuahua, maybe Cali should be entered to see if she is the smallest.

| Jen wouldn't want the attention... as it is she can't walk her down the street without getting a ton of flack for having "that Puppy" out in the cold! LOL And jen can get fresh with people! LOL our sweet lil ol Jen is a New Yorker at heart! Mouth and all! Don't mess with her dogs man! Don''t even look at um! LOL They aren't like her kids... they are her kids! That and EVERYONE wants to touch her and she's afraid some creep might get a funny idea... I guess dogs are stolen quite often in some parts.... You can never be too careful. she's worth a fortune to the wrong person.. I think it would be cool too see a believe it or not pagent for dogs.... the smallest... biggest! Ugliest... prettiest.... I wonder what other qualities could be judged? But I'm just funny like that... I'd so watch it! he he he... But I'd watch one for any group... cats, people, hampsters... lol I'm just facinated with stuff that is not the norm... I think everyone is to a degree.

| There was a story here of a pup that over ate and died. Some dogs don't know when to stop, my Buffy is like that and could over, over eat if I don't regulate her food. Specially when its dry food. Yorkies will stop when they are "full" and 20 mins later the dry food expands and they are over stuffed, if they eat more then what their body can digest they will die from it. You can tell if you feel their stomach bloated and hard almost painful...thats a good sign of over eating . I know a Yorkie mom that called me one morning crying because her Yorkie had been throwing up, went to the vet they stop the vomiting but vet. told her if it happen again she would have to think of putting him down because they thought it was from other health issues he has. I had never met her or ever talk to her before. Long story short I told her it sound like he was over eating .....came to find out her BF said the same thing dogs know when to stop eating and don't die from over eating "Wrong" she follow my instructions and he has not vomited in 3 months. Needless to say we have become good friends. I don't know why some dogs don't over eat and some do, but thats why we need to watch them if they get fat that can also cause other health issues. Do some research and you decide.

My Labrador would kill himself if he had access to unlimited food.... He tore into a bag that was just delivered and ate till he was full and spent the next hour vomiting... and we have had to reduce him to one cup feedings so he doesn't barf it up.. We can't free feed him like we do the girls.... For one.. Labs tend to over eat as it is and get fat.. he is a bit full.. Not at all fat, but pushing it! LOL Now I adopted him from a Show Kennel when he was 2 a bit over years old... He had his championship and was at stud. He had attitude in the ring so he was not continued on towards his GC. He lived in a kennel at the Kennel.. when I say kennel.. I mean Crated 90% of his day.. let out to eat and go... So he scarfed down his food peed and pooed and back in the crate... and out for some breeding from time to time.. thats it. He was conditioned to focus on food.. it was his only real highlight in the day... And he got only enough to keep him going really... strict portions.. nothing more, no treats, nothing.. When I got him home and gave him a lareger bowl of food he flipped out and scarfed it down and got Soooo sick! I could have killed him! I had no idea... To this day I have to be soooo carefull about keeping the food up or he will over eat! But my little ones never had to worry about there not being enough so they never over ate... Thats the reason I can free feed them... I just have to put their food inside the Dog house that my Lab can't fit his head inside! LOL
