| Anyone else doing Weight Watcher???? Well I started Weight Watcher on Jan 5th. My first weight in I lost an amazing 8lbs. I was so surprised!!! Well today was my 2nd weigh in and my goal was at least 2lbs... I lost 5.4lbs. Thats 13.4 lbs in two weeks. I'm so excited. I still have alot more to lose (100lbs) but this is a good start. I'm gonna set small 20lb goals for myself and take it pound by pound. I need to get healthy!!!!! My asthma has been worse and now my blood pressure is up. I've never had that problem. It seem like since I had Lexi 2 years ago, the pounds have just packed on. I think I tend to put all my energy in my kids and family and totally leave myself out. Its time to put me first!!!! I highly suggest it to anyone wanting to lose weight. Its the points system and it works great. |

| I hardly ever come into the off topics forum--I don't know why but I just don't. I happen to peek in here tonight and I was so excited to see this thread! I started WW on Dec 26th. I have lost 12 1/2 pounds so far but I have a ways to go too. This isn't the first time I have joined it BUT it is the first time I have the attitude about it that I do now. I am doing WW online and am going at it as a lifestyle change and NOT a diet. It is not like a diet really. I am actually enjoying it and feel so much better already. I love the point system! It's great to know some others are doing it too!

| ME ME ME!!! I'm doing it informally though (no meetings). My mom is a lifetime member and shares all of her materials and info with me. My favorite thing about WW are the zero points foods~my best friends are green beans, broccolli and asparagus Congratulations to all of you on a great weight loss so far! Keep it up! |

| Life time member here! Best diet there is and the reason is you can eat anything and not feel like you can't have that!! I got some great recipe ideas from weightwatcher.com if you havn't been there GO Fav snack was pumpkin muffins and they were 2 pt a muffin spice cake mix 1 can of pumpkin mix together and bake like box directions(temp and time) in muffin tins (so moist and yummy)

| I've been going since Dec with my sister and sister in law and have lost 12lbs but still have a way to go. My husband was away a week or so before Christmas and I bought the Smart Ones and Lean Cusine because I didn't want to cook just for me but since he is home we have a regular meal every night. Jello sugar free pudding is a great treat. I'm doing Flex but my sister and sister in law are doing core-they have less to lose.

| Hey guys. I'm currently doing Weight Watchers and did it in the past and can say 100 percent that it works great. I know you guys are saying, hmmm, did it in the past and now again how good can it work but.... this is what happened. I lost 30 pounds and kept it off for four years then became very ill and was diagnosed with Leukemia. I put the weight back on from being in active, meds. etc. Right now it seems like I'm in a reimission. Blood has been good for the past three months (Will be four months Jan. 30) so.. I started doing some light work outs and Weight Watchers. It's a GREAT program. I do the point system as I did in the past. With regard to the dinners I personally love Lean Cuisine Margarita pie for 6 pts. the Lean Cuisine mashed potatoes and meat loaf for 6 points and in the w.w. dinners I like the rice and beans for 6 pts. OH and the desserts are delicious. I'm currently eating my snack now; Strawberry Shorcake 4pts. The eclairs are good too and they are 3 pts. then also the ice cream sandwhiches for 2 pts. The key to doing well with the points is to figure out ahead what you are going to eat for the day otherwise you could over due it. The points go quick. I usually figure out my points for dinner in the morning then work around them, always allowing 4 points for a snack at night. Also, if you allow 2 pts. less then you can actually have that helps too. For instance if you are allowed 24 pts. per day and from the beginning only allow 22 points daily it really helps, especially for when your points drop due to weight change. Good Luck to everyone and let's share our secrets as we go along. Elaine |

| I am on Weight Watcher's -- but I am just doing it myself. I have all the books and am just logging all of my food/points in a spiral notebook. One reason I stopped before was too many missed meetings, usually for my son's sports. I decided I had learned what I needed and have all the information, now I just need to DO IT! I am down 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Good luck to us all -- may there be a lot less of us in a few months.
