| I went to the chriopractor! Hi guys! So, remember I posted about chiropractors and my hesitance in going to see one.....? Well, I went and I can't tell you how please and excited I am about it. I really like her and she took the time to really talk to me about what is going on and she has put together a long term plan for me. Turns out I have "military neck." My neck goes straight up and down instead of slightly curved like normal. She said this usually shows in patients with some sort of trauma. I don't recall an injury, but I did fall a lot when I was a cheerleader some years ago. Who knows! Anyways, thanks to all who shared your experiences with me!! Hopefully, this will help with my headaches and sinus issues. We'll see!!

| I sure hope it does help you because headaches and sinus problems can make you misrable. I get sinus headaches only a couple of times a year, I can't imagine suffering with them on a daily basis. I have never been to one but know several people who swear by theirs. I am glad you went and hope you get great results. Carol & Buddy |

| I Chiropractic care!!!! It helps your whole body, you should start feeling great after a few adjustments. I know I did I have a reverse curvature, they said due to me walking too soon as a baby. That's when your curve forms, when you are crawling, and if you don't crawl enough the curve forms the wrong way I guess. I never heard of Military neck, but I suppose that WOULD make you feel icky for sure. I hope you feel better soon!

| Thanks all! I am really hoping to get rid of these nasty headaches!! It is going to take awhile, but I am very optimistic. I never realized how important posture and spine care is for you entire body and well being.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I'm glad you had a good expierance! My parents have taken me and my brother to chiropractors since we were really little. Now we have one that comes to the house every Tuesday (we've been seeing him for about 6 years).

Then, 2 days later on my 2nd visit. She went over my x rays as well as a packet she had put together for me, specific to me. There were diagrams of the spine and she had circled exactly where my problem areas were and what body functions were associated with them. I never knew that so much of our health issues could come from our basic spine and posture. The areas she circled for me, were very specific to head and sinuses, which are the types of problems I have been experiencing. So, after sitting down with me, reviewing her findings and discussing with me her plan (9 wks and beyond), she had me lie on a massaging bed for 5 mins, I think it's called a compressor, not sure. Then she did a few adjustments, that's the cracking and popping. I was a little scared, but she talked me through it and told me exactly what she was doing. Basically, the popping you hear is the releasing of gas between the vertabrae. So, all in all, I have been very happy so far. She said it is going to take a little bit for me to actually feel the results, so I just have to be patient. Hope this helps!

| Thanks very much for the info! I'm still considering trying a chiropractor but am very hesitant. It helps to know what to expect.
