| picture taking question I have been trying to take pictures of my house at night (all decorated for halloween) but when I do the flash always goes off and ruins the picture cause its soo bright..I wanted to get the real effect with of how it looks with out the flash...also I can't seem to figure out how to turn the flash off its a digital camera...thank you |

| hmmm maybe you can cover it with something black but there should be a button to turn it off |

| lol if you cant find it then you can type in the type of camera and maybe something will come up like an online manuel. |

| On my camera it looks like a lightning bolt and you press it and you can choose on and off. |

| It's probably going to take more than just covering up the flash to get a good picture. Get out the instruction book and see if you have a setting for night time or fireworks so it will set the correct aperture and shutter speed. |

| Some have a built in auto flash, and they cannot be turned off. Mine is an HP and I don't believe that I can turn mine off. I'd also like to turn off the auto focus cause it takes so long for it to take a picture and when your subjects are dogs and kids they don't sit still for that long. |
