| Does age REALLY matter? Just wondering everyone's opinion on age differences in relationships (LEGAL...18 and up). How do you feel about older men/younger women.....older women/younger men? Would you ever date someone older/younger than yourself? And if you have, did it work out? On a side note....I have always dated someone older than myself. I've been with my boyfriend for two years now.....and he's 36 and I'm 24.

| For me age must be pretty close. I would not judge others though for their preferences as far as age goes. My sister is 23 and she always dates men in their 40's not for $$$$$ she just feels that any of the younger guys she has dated are immature and so she likes older men instead. |

| Hmmm,, always older for me,, When I was 25 dated a guy that was 35 for 3 years. Now my BF is 8 years older than me, I dont think it matters. But Older women MUCH younger BOYS that kinda freaks me out,, like 40+ woman and 20 something guys,, they are already way to immature.

| Yes, I think that most of the time age matters - or it comes into play more often that it should in a "normal" relationship

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Always dated older than me. Any where from 8-14 years older.....no kidding. Now that I think about it....some older than that....wonder what my parents thought when I was 20....of my 35 year old bf? They may have had more in common than I thought Married a man TWO years YOUNGER than me....LOL. When we first met....my thoughts were....hmmmm, someone that's my own age for a change.

| Another side note.... My grandfather (he just passed away this Dec), married my step-grandmother when he was 40 years old. She was 20! The same age as my father, his son! In fact....(creepy music starts), my dad and my step-grandmother are born on the SAME DAY! Oh, how I love my family!

| Also thought I would add that I was referring to a 10+ year age difference. I was 16 dating a 26 year old for a month or two. I told him I was 21. He believed me.

| Now, age isn't really a huge factor to me, but we always teased my sister and her ex who are 6 years apart. It's weird when you think about it because when he was 18, she was 12. They were both legal age when dating of course.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I used to date both older and younger guys....I found the younger guys were too clingy.... I am married to someone 10 years older than me and sometimes I REALLY feel the gap...and with him sick now it's even more so...but as you grow older...the age thing isn't that big a deal. |

| I wouldn't want to date someone who doesn't remember the Monkees, Watergate, The Summer Of Love, when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan, returnable Coca-Cola bottles, leisure suits , Twiggy, and when parents actually made their children behave! You know you're getting old when you no longer recognize the names or the latest bands or singers! Imagine going on a date and your date asking you when you went to the last (insert name here) concert and you didn't know who the heck they were talking about???? |

| The older you get, the less it matters. My sister at age 22 got pg and married an 18 yo. I thought that was a big deal. Now her children are (girls-22 and 20) (boys 19 and 18) that age (she & hubby still married). So I asked her what she would think if her 19 got an older woman pg; She replied that she was more worried about her girls being as stupid as she was. Here they are back in the 'good ole days'. I am sure his mother was mortified by all this, but they are a great family!
