Donating YT 14K Club Member | I need some prayers, guys! Talked to my mom this evening and she had went in for her yearly physical and appointment with the woman doctor. They did her mammogram and found a shadow in her left breast. She has to go back next month on Feb. 9th to have it rechecked. Why so long, you ask? Because she goes to a military base hospital and that was the soonest they could get her in. Anyway, please say a prayer for my mom. If it's not a calcium deposit and something else, I don't know what I'd do.

| I'm so sorry! Kimberley, It really could be nothing. I was called back for a repeat of my mammogram once, and it turned out to be nothing; they didn't get a good image the first time. On the other hand, this happened to my mother just a little over a year ago. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was devastating for all of us. The good news is that she had surgery, followed by radiation, and she is cancer free to this day. The medical profession has really come a long way. I will keep your mom in my prayers. Try not to worry. Sending hugs your way,

| Kimberley, try not to worry! 85% of all breast abnormalities are benign. Please don't worry too much. I am sure your mom will be fine, regardless of how things turn out. The medical field has made great strides in treating breast disorders. I am a one year breast cancer survivor, so I know what I am saying here. Be strong for your mom, darlin'. Let us know how things go. PM me if there's anything I can help with. Here's a hug for your mom from me! ((((((((((((((((Kimberley's Mom))))))))))))))))))))))))))

| Kimberley, I am so sorry you, your mom and your family have to go through this. It is a tough time. My sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31 years of age with 3 little kids with a 20% of survival. They removed both of her breasts and her lymph nodes and she beat the odds for 4 years. Then another lump appear and again with powerful meds she has survived another 4 years. She is an incredible woman and always says "Life is about the Journey". I guess I am telling you this because breast cancer is not always a death sentence. You need to be strong for your mom and have faith. We are all here for you and you will be in my thoughts.

| Kimberley, I know its scary, but wait before you freak out, it really might be nothing!! I had a scare with my mom a bunch of years back, I surely thought we were going to lose her because of the lump they found under her arm. And of course the doctor totally freaked us out.. Turned out to be nothing. Gosh that had to be 20 years ago!! But if the time comes and you just need to talk, girl you know where to find me!! Getting in trouble somewhere!!
