Kimberley, I am so sorry you, your mom and your family have to go through this. It is a tough time. My sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31 years of age with 3 little kids with a 20% of survival. They removed both of her breasts and her lymph nodes and she beat the odds for 4 years. Then another lump appear and again with powerful meds she has survived another 4 years. She is an incredible woman and always says "Life is about the Journey". I guess I am telling you this because breast cancer is not always a death sentence. You need to be strong for your mom and have faith.
