| Glass or plastic food storage containers... I need to purchase some storage containers for food. I have always used Tupperware type containers, but I am now considering Pyrex or glass containers. Which one do you prefer, and what name brand do you use? My preference is some that are not made in China.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Prefer glass also. You can put it in the oven, freezer, or the microwave. My DBF works in the plastics field and he never likes to microwave plastic.

| Some plastics are dangerous when heated up. They have cancer causing stuff in them that heats up into your foods and drinks. |

| I just bought some snap wear glass containers at Costco. I love them!!! I loved them so much I went back to buy 2 more sets. I can check my spade box to make sure, but I think they're made in the US.

| For me, the operative word here is "storage"....I use my new Pyrex storage bowls for storing food in the fridge....all my baking glassware is the "old Pyrex, and Corning Ware" that my mother had.....these baking dishes have absolutely stood the test of time, each piece being well over 50 years old. Of course, I dont bake sand at 500* and then take it out and set it on a wet counter!!!! I also bake in cast iron and metal baking dishes....but for storage, I love my new Pyrex glass food storage containers! |

| I finally found the glass storage containers that I wanted! I got mine at Kohl's. It was $69.99 in the store, but they honored the online price of $39.99! I bought the twenty piece set. Pyrex 20-pc. Storage Set with Color Lids
