YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Kitchen Gadgets I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread about our favorite kitchen gadgets. What do you have that you can't live without? My food processor gets used all the time - I couldn't live without it - especially since I homecook for the doggies. On another note, I am need of a good chopper / slicer, and I know you guys can help me! I have a slicer blade for the food processor, but it cuts too thin. I'd like somthing with variation so I can get thick or thin slices. I used to have a smart chopper, which was great for chopping & dicing, but it was cheap plastic, and it's already gone to the gadget graveyard. I'd like something that can handle raw potatoes (I like to cut my own potato chips & fries) but the plastic gadgets do not work unless you cook the pototaes first! Is it possible to get an all-in-one kitchen gadget that slices, dices, & chops??

Lets see, honeslty all my good quality stuff I just LOVE. The most favorite gadget though.... hmmm so hard to choose, I love my whole drawer!

| My dh bought me a (it's called this but it does everything) Vidalia Onion chopper. ooohhh man I LOVE this thing! I think it was one of those 'as seen on TV' things he found at Walgreens like 3 years ago or something for $10. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I use it for just about everything. I make homemade salsa a lot, I chop ALL my veggies for soups... I mean I am pulling this thing out 3-4x a week to chop stuff. It has 2 plates/grates, one bigger cubes and one smaller. It now takes me 1/3 the time to make a salad than it used to. It is by FAR my favorite kitchen gadget. If you ever want to know if this works... it does! https://www.chopwizard.com/?s_kwcid=...FeU7OgodlB_wng

| I remember years ago, we ate at Olive Garden for the first time. When they brought the cheese grater to the table, I about died and went to Heaven I ran out and got one as soon as I could and I still use it a couple of times a week

| The basic slicer attachment has several thickness adjustments, it also comes with an attachment for fries..a julienne slicer blade and a v-shape blade that I am not sure what it does..I have never used it. I can slice potatoes from potato chip thin up to I am guessing about 1/4" thick.

| I love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer too. This thread made me think of the Honeymooners when Ralph was Chef of the Future with his handy kitchen gadget. |

| I must be crazy because I have alot of the kitchen gadgets mentioned in this thread so far cept the magic bullet, food processor and the bread maker - although I have thought about getting them! I don't think I have a favorite because I use so many of them including my cutco knives. I would have to say that my favorite gadget is my slicer from Pampered Chef too. I use it to slice eggplant for parmesean etc.
