On another note, I am need of a good chopper / slicer, and I know you guys can help me! I have a slicer blade for the food processor, but it cuts too thin. I'd like somthing with variation so I can get thick or thin slices. I used to have a smart chopper, which was great for chopping & dicing, but it was cheap plastic, and it's already gone to the gadget graveyard. I'd like something that can handle raw potatoes (I like to cut my own potato chips & fries) but the plastic gadgets do not work unless you cook the pototaes first! Is it possible to get an all-in-one kitchen gadget that slices, dices, & chops??

I have a slicer thingy from Pampered Chef..but boy it is dangerous..the blades are like razors..but it does work really well..
