| Pepsi/Coke/Chocolate milk drinkers unite Yesterday I took myself out for a nice lunch. I let myself have a treat, a coke with my meal. The manager of the place asked me if I knew that the federal government was about to impose a "sin" tax on cola, much like the one on cigarettes and alcohol..... I was appalled. I did a little digging and it is bigger than they, they also plan to hit juice drinks and my beloved CHOCOLATE MILK.. Enough already Sign the petition here: Americans Against Food Taxes Sign the Petition

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I think they just did that in Illinois. I live on Coke, my husband on pepsi and chocolate is my favorite food group. The taxes are killing us not the sugar!!

| Horrible, terrible thought just came to me,....since "THEY" SEEM TO be taxing what "they" consider self indulgent luxuries, I hope "they" don't impose a yorkie tax.

| Wow! Just wow! It reminds me of the dystopic society from the movie Demolition Man. Here's a clip of a rant by Dennis Leary as Edgar Friendly to remind you. I really think these regulations of food for "our own good" are getting out of hand!

| Yeah, & remember the Woody Allen movie "Sleeper". Do we get our money back if in the future these foods are proven to be healthy?

| Oh yes! That's a good one too. I actually DO think sugar is healthier than artificial sweeteners.
