| How heartless can you be! I was just in the bank, on agency business, when on the TV came a news story about a little blind Chi who was dropped off at a Stop N Shop and left to fend for itself. Someone must have picked him up and taken him to a vet for care. It seems he has water on the brain and has a hard time walking. They are going to do surgery to save this little one's life. Wonderful story until I heard a bank worker say "Only In America would this nonsence happen" People can't even get health ins! and their throwing away $ on this kind of stuff! I could feel my face get hot and red. The teller then said "oh so much money" to which I added, I would have no problem spending that on my dog! He glared at me and walked away. I guess it's ok to say he's not an animal lover. Did you see this story? First time I heard about it. I hope he makes it threw surgery. They named him Jonah. |

| Good for you! I think I probably would have said a lot more to him, and it would not have been as nice as your comment! What a Doink!! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | That's probably true, and, I for one am very proud to be an American! I'm so glad people are helping little Jonah, and I hope he makes it through the surgery. I do think the health care system needs overhauling, but that's a different topic. Here's a link to the story. http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/hourlyupdate/313045.php and http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/feat...esaving_s.html Gosh, he looks like he part Yorkie.

You have no idea how I wanted to answer him but being on agency business and not my personal business I had to behave myself! I am sure he got the message! | |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Breaks my heart. I hope the baby makes it and who ever dumped him has nothing but bad luck. The shelter I volunteer at cannot take in any more animals and have cut 1/4 of their staff and I am so worried that people will just dump their dogs and cats when they can't get them in. Something has to be done!

| At first I thought is was a Yorkies, but it has long hair and the color of a Yorkie. They are asking for donations to cover expense. They said it would cost $2,000. . I do hope it pulls thru. Would be wonderful if it regained it's sight.
