I was just in the bank, on agency business, when on the TV came a news story about a little blind Chi who was dropped off at a Stop N Shop and left
to fend for itself. Someone must have picked him up and taken him to
a vet for care. It seems he has water on the brain and has a hard time
walking. They are going to do surgery to save this little one's life.
Wonderful story until I heard a bank worker say "Only In America would
this nonsence happen" People can't even get health ins!
and their
throwing away $ on this kind of stuff! I could feel my face get hot and
red. The teller then said "oh so much money" to which I added,
I would have no problem spending that on my dog!
He glared at me and walked away.
I guess it's ok to say he's not an animal lover.
