| HSG and SHG So this week has been quite traumatizing so far, my husband and I have had trouble getting pregnant for about two years now. On Monday I had an HSG, which is where they force dye through your uterus and tubes to check for blockages, well OH MY GOD that was the most painful thing i have ever experienced in my life! I was screaming and crying I've never reacted to pain that way before. I was so sore and naseous yesterday and this morning I threw up but I think I'm ok now just really sore. But one of my tubes was blocked so they want to do an SHG now, which is where they force saline through and look at it with an ultra sound. The Dr. said it wont be as bad but she told me I would only experience mild cramping with the HSG which was a lie. My question is is there any one that has had an HSG, SHG or preferably both that wouldn't mind sharing their stories with me. I'm so so scared to get the SHG done now I almost don't even want to get pregnant any more, yes it was that bad. Thanks guys! __________________
