YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Ice Cream Anyone? I recently bought a Cuisinart soft serve ice cream maker and I just love it!! This is the model ... Amazon.com: Cuisinart Ice-45 Mix-It-In Soft-Serve... You don't need to add salt or ice to this machine, and you can even make the recipes fat free! I've done sorbets, yogurts, etc. So, I was wondering if anyone had any homemade ice cream recipes they would like to share? I already made just about all the recipes that came with it, and I've made a few of my own creations, but I would like to try some new recipes.

| Can't help you on your request but growing up and living in Brenham, TX, of course there's only ONE ice cream and that's Blue Bell!! But I DO love me some soft serve... Sonic used to have THE best chocolate but they only have vanilla now.

| Can you make the ice cream in that with cookies or anything like that? I've been dying for some cookie or brownie ice cream, but I have food allergies so I would have to make my own cookies. I've tried mixing my own with pre-made vanilla ice cream but it always makes the ice cream too soft. Other flavors that sound good to me are: blueberry and peanut butter.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Just a thought ... Perhaps I will try a "yorkie friendly" batch! I'll have to make up my own recipe ... hmm, maybe with applesauce and a touch of cinnamon!

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I made a new one! I picked so many strawberries over the weekend (about 5-6 cups), so I figured I'd better turn them into ice cream! So, I made some chocolate strawberry w/ walnuts and chocolate jimmies mixed through. It was so good! I found some great new recipes made with riccota cheese too, so I'll have to try those soon. I'm still open to any new ice cream recipes if anyone has any they'd like to share. Anyone?
