"No arts; no letters; no society; and which is worst of all continual fear and danger of violent death and the life of man; solitary; poor; natsy; brutish and short"

wow thats class sounds cool...
the way i interpret it is how life would be without our liberties...
no art.. no letters.. no freedom of speech.. therefore no society.. everyone will be the same no uniqueness ...
i dunno thats how i see the quote... teehee.

keep us posted on what ur professor tells you...

I have a BA in art. I had to do all this kind of stuff when I was in school but that was awhile ago.
The way that I interpret this is a few different ways;

1. life in a dicatorship.

2. life where every thought, movement, moment is ruled by some one else. WHere you have no control of your own thoughts.

I think I got a C in both of my philosophy classes I was required to take. I just had to check out the thread to see if we had any YT philosophers.
