| Eminent Domain Advise Ugh! So 2 years ago the city informed us that they would be "purchasing" my mom and grandma's home to widen the road. Since then they have regularly told them that they will be making an offer soon (within the next month or two). The offer still hasn't come. So far they have sent out 3 different appraisers. The whole process is sooo stressful for my grandma especially as she is not looking forward to moving out of a home she's live in for 45 years. Anyway if anybody has any experience with eminent domain and the negotiation process, I would love to speak with you through PM and get any advise you care to share. TIA!

| I'd say be nice because they don't have to give you more than fair market value for the home. |

| I personally think eminent domain is wrong!!!! I don't think any has the right to make you sale or move out out of your home that you built and purchased. I am sorry that your family has to deal with this especially your grandmother. This has to be very diffcult for her. I am keeping them in my prayers and thoughts. |
