| YIKES! Found Brown Recluse in my room last night I had just finished watching a few dvds of 24 and Lola and I were about to go into my bedroom and there it was... on the floor. The size of a dollar piece and it had six legs. I killed it and there is no way I would sleep in my room after that. WHAT SHOULD I DO? bug bomb my room? If you don't know what damage a brown recluse can do... google it.

| I googled it , I am so AFRAID of spiders its not funny! I would bomb or something. In my freakish mind I would be convinced that it laid eggs and that there would be 100's crawling around while I slept. Or worse yet, I would swear they were crawling on me during the night!!!!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | oh my gosh I know how you feel! But you're braver than me. Last summer I was talking to some online friends that I have. It was like 3 in the morning and I looked over at my wall and I saw this creepy brown spider. I googled "creepy brown spiders" and came across the Brown Recluse. I don't know anything about them or where they live, but it sure looked like the one on my wall! I was so freaked out I couldn't even kill it. I packed up my laptop and went downstairs and slept in the bathroom! The next day I sent my brother upstairs and he said he couldn't find it and it was probably dead. A week later I was talking to my friends again and I looked over at my lamp and THERE IT WAS hanging from my lamp. I got hairspray and killed it with that. I don't think you need to bug bomb your room, but do keep your eyes open. Eek!

OMG...............I didn't see the picture but that would be enough for me to certainly bomb! I am a huge wimp when it comes to spiders.

| I've taken care of people who got bitten by a brown recluse and I can tell you it's HORRIBLE! If it were in my house, I'd not only bug bomb the entire house, I'd have a pest control guy out there PRONTO....can you even IMAGINE what it would do to a little dog????? I saw one scorpion and I was on the phone to my landlords....and my feeling is (and I'm usually right), is if there's one, it's got family and friends.....I've now killed 4 scorpions of varying size IN the house....just before the pest control guy came.

Gina, that is just plain mean! LOL Wow, I would be scared too. Have you ever seen pictures of the bite sites on people? My father's best friend got bitten years ago and lost a chunk of flesh and muscle. | |

| Are you sure it was a brown recluse? They usually stay in inactive dark areas. |

| OMG if I saw a brown recluse I would not be able to sleep!!! I've gotten th email showing the thumb pic of a guy who was bitten and his thumb basically detiorated!! So scary...get an exterminator ASAP and also just be careful...like don't grab things out of dark places, watch what you pick up and where you step, and definately check your shoes before you put them on!!! That seems like an ideal hiding spot.

| That is what i thought... but it had 6 legs and that tan color on the back. My mom's friend thinks it was a garden spider... I'm 90% sure it was one.
