Donating YT 14K Club Member | What exactly is tapioca? You know...the pudding. What exactly are those lumpy, bumpy things? You know, for the longest time, I wouldn't even try tapioca pudding because the lumpy, bumpy things reminded me of eye boogies. I tried it one day and found that I actually liked it...just trying to get past the lumps. Does anyone know what they are?????

| I haven't been brave enough to try it myself, but I am assuming the lumps are the tapioca pearls (see picture). Tapioca pearls come from the cassava, or yuca plant. Some people also add rice to their tapioca pudding, so that may be the lumps as well.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | are you talking about the yuca plants that grow tall with prickly things sticking out all over it? I had a yuca plant that I had my husband dig up. It was sprouting babies all over the place. If I'd known, I could've sent it to ya!

| When I was younger I wouldnt eat it for all the money in the world, but now I like it. My grandma mades this heavy soup we call "Sancocho", it has differents veggies like yuca, corn, etc. Again I hated it when I was growing up, but now I love it. Weird huh. I didnt even like beans then, but now i do. I guess I was a very picky eater when I was growing up,. I think my daugther is the same way. Oops I went way out of topic, sorry. |

| So I'm assuming no one here has tried Bolba?? It's drinks that have huge tapioca balls at the bottom of the drink. You get a huge straw so you can suck up the balls too. The drinks come in any flavor, like tea, mochas, lattes, smoothies, anything. These tapioca balls are like the size of regular sized gummy bears, only round. They are sooooooooooooooooooooooo good. And as for tapioca pudding...YUMM..Villette wanna come over and have some, since we like it so much?

| I've never heard of Bolba either. Is there a certain restaurant or something where they serve it? I'm always up for trying something new.

| Vainchick - OMGGGG I did not know, for the life of me, what that stuff was called. I LOVVVVVVE it! I have been trying to explain it to people wondering where I can get it. They put it in smoothies at some places.
