| Happy Kwanza! Just wanted to wish our fellow YT'ers who celebrate Kwanza! I've never met anyone that celebrates Kwanza. Sounds very interesting from what I've read. Please post pictures of your Kwanza Celebrations. I'd love to see them and your happy faces!

| Happy Kwanza from me and Sugar too! I don't know much about it. I hope we have members who will share their celebration with us.

| Happy Kwanzaa celebration Quote:
It features activities such as candle-lighting, a feast and gift giving. It was created by Dr. Maulana Karenqa and first celebrated in 12/26/66. It is a extremely happy and fun occasion for those of African-American ancestry. Each day focuses on the traditional African values of family, community responsibility, commerce, and self-improvement. I hope this explains it. And I also wish those celebrating it a happy Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa means "first fruits of the harvest" in the African language Kiswahili,. Contrary to public opinion, it is neither political nor religious and is not a substitute for Christmas. It is simply a time of reaffirming African-American people, their ancestors and culture. thanks Corrinne, for bringing it to our attention.
