Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Coffee is hot.. come on in and chat...It's Wednesday! I hope you all have a wonderful day. We were expecting snow flurries last night and this morning and I seee nothing...darn. So what are your plans today? I am off to get the car worked on later and find some more penguin ornaments. I put up a artifical tree last night in my Dining room( I will have a real one in my Living room later). It is a 7 ft. slim tree. My daughter is on the hunt to do it all in Penguins. I have about 15 ornaments but need lots more. I thought after Christmas I would move it into the foyer and do Easter, 4th of July on it. I think the kids will like that.

| Morning! It's cold here too. Oh so very very cold! Brrrrrrr! I HATE getting out of bed on cold mornings. Today I am going to attempt to do everything I didn't do yesterday because I hung out on YT all day. Or I may just go back to bed.

| Morning all. I just got to work. I always check YT when I get in. Then it's down to business.... I guess it helps that I love my job, but I'm still jealous of those who don't work outside the home. The weather just turned cool (not cold) last night here in Houston. It's a nice change from the heat. For those of you who get snow, you need to start a thread to show us southerners what it looks like and I just love to see pics of your furbabies playing in it! I hope you all have a great day!

| Good morning to you, too!!!! I'll be sewing again all day today. I'm furiously working to get a wholesale order out on time and squeeze in gift exchange orders as well!!! That will be about all I do today other than long to be on YT!!!!!! If I can spare a few minutes the girls might get baths. They had Pixie Stix yesterday and their little beards are crusty and kind-of stinky!!!!!!!!!!!

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Morning...it's cold here in NY as well. Not as bad as it will get but definitely time to have hubby take out the window units so as not to get any drafts. Nothing but work on the agenda today and then maybe food shopping after work. Loads of fun I tell you I have no idea how I can stand it Glad to hear that the day has met us all in good health and high spirits. Send me a cup of coffee please.

| Sissy didn't bother the tree at all, though any presents underneath she felt the need to try to open!!!! I expect this year with Angel to be an adventure. If there is something to be gotten into, eat or shred, Angel's the one to do it!!!!

| Good morning! I have two appointments today and need to go the grocery. Christmas trees.... I have always had an 8 foot tree - the bigger the better. Last year I bought a Norfolk in a pot. I put it outside during the summer and this year it's about a foot high or so. With so many little feet and mouths, I don't want to fight with them about staying away from a tree. I do miss my big tree, though. Let me add I DO NOT want to go to the Dr. in an hour. NO NO NO |

It took me several years of living with a "marker & chewer" (Not Rocky) to figure this out. I bought a new tree that has a natural trunk & wanted to keep it "pee free" so I put the stand in a square laundry basket. It was an exact fit & it also gave me a place to put all of the power controllers and cords/plugs for the lights. The opening on the side was just big enough to pass the plug end of my line out to the outlet. I attach the tree skirt above the basket and let the skirt cover the basket to the floor. Slick.
