| Reputable Yorkie Breeder Listings My web site is http://yorkies.com and I have a comprehensive list of reputable Yorkie breeders from around the country. Most of these breeders are known to me personally but you still have to use your best judgement in dealing with them. Once you're on my web site, just click on the link that says "Looking for a Breeder" on the menu to the upper left. .....Because I have so many listings that will take you to a page with links to alphabetical listings by state. Many of the breeders are members of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and are denoted by an * next to their name. In some cases I have notes posted on those pages for "so called breeders/brokers" to KEEP AWAY FROM. I don't pull punches. If I find a bad breeder I have no problem in posting a warning. In my opinion, those YTCA member are the best source for healthy Yorkies bred for the standard. YTCA member who fail to live up to the Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics are not allowed continued membership. If you care to see what those rules are, you can visit the YTCA web site at: http://ytca.org .

| What a great site! Thank you for that. It's hard to find the good breeders in your area, but I just found 3 near where I live!! Of course I will check them out for myself and make sure they really are good breeders but this is great. Thanks and welcome

| does anyone know this breeder? I read all the bad comments about the Sutton breeder after my husband talked to her at length today. Wow! Are we glad we found this out before taking the time to travel to see her puppies. She certainly can talk up a convincing line. We have also talked to a breeder in Rehoboth MA (I don't know if I can include her name). She said she only has one litter at a time-and she has one now. Would love to hear if anyone has experience with her. This will be our first Yorkie and we are quite excited about it. This is my first time on this web site. It's been quite informative. Thanks to anyone who can respond. |

| Yep! that's the Satman. He does what he can to keep the average yorkie owner from falling into traps..... He's not a breeder, but knows alot about them. Fellow YTCA member.

| I don't know the breeder in Rehoboth, MA but I can tell you that if she is advertising Yorkies for sale, STAY AWAY. Of the hundreds of Yorkie breeders I know, none of them advertise their puppies; they don't have to. Since Yorkies have such small litters and because the better breeders have a waiting list of people looking to buy their pups, they don't advertise. Word of mouth and those that see these breeders at the dog shows, are all the customers they can supply pups to. I have a listing of Yorkie breeders on my web site ( http://yorkies.com) and it's organized by state. I only know of 4 breeders in MA that I'd trust and they're listed there. I suggest you also look at the Connecticut breeders, also listed on my web site. Each of those listed are personally known to me and I'd buy from any of them. As a matter of fact I own 3 Yorkies and one came from each of the first three listed CT breeders. And for you and others that are reading this, there is a Yorkie Play Date coming up on April 29th in Taunton MA. For more information about the play date, go to http://www.yorkiesinc.com. I'll be there, WILL YOU? Quote:

| Thank you so much for that wonderful site!! The breeder I got my girls from in TN. is on that list. I wish I lived close enough to join the Yorkie Party. Wish we had something like that here in CA. |

| CA Yorkie Gatherings Try going to http://yorkie.meetup.com and see if there's a group in your area. There are Yorkie Meetup groups in most areas.
