I don't know the breeder in Rehoboth, MA but I can tell you that if she is advertising Yorkies for sale, STAY AWAY. Of the hundreds of Yorkie breeders I know, none of them advertise their puppies; they don't have to. Since Yorkies have such small litters and because the better breeders have a waiting list of people looking to buy their pups, they don't advertise. Word of mouth and those that see these breeders at the dog shows, are all the customers they can supply pups to.
I have a listing of Yorkie breeders on my web site (
http://yorkies.com) and it's organized by state. I only know of 4 breeders in MA that I'd trust and they're listed there. I suggest you also look at the Connecticut breeders, also listed on my web site. Each of those listed are personally known to me and I'd buy from any of them. As a matter of fact I own 3 Yorkies and one came from each of the first three listed CT breeders.
And for you and others that are reading this, there is a Yorkie Play Date coming up on April 29th in Taunton MA. For more information about the play date, go to
http://www.yorkiesinc.com. I'll be there, WILL YOU?

We have also talked to a breeder in Rehoboth MA (I don't know if I can include her name). She said she only has one litter at a time-and she has one now. Would love to hear if anyone has experience with her. This will be our first Yorkie and we are quite excited about it.
This is my first time on this web site. It's been quite informative. Thanks to anyone who can respond. |
