| LiL Moe N Pippy It's been quite a long time since I wrote here, last time I was dealing with a mystery illness for Moe, which turned out to be rat poison. He has since fully recovered, even his paralyzed back end has gone back to 100% use! So I thought I would share the latest pic of him here, also ..some may recall I got Moe a friend to play with last year as he only had our big dogs to play with....so I got Pippy a female yorkie....who ended up needing tons of care in the beginning as she was severly abused, neglected and just simply uncared for.... when we got her she was a bag of bones with a swollen paw from nervously chewing her own claws off...look at her now!

| OMG....Pippy doesn't even look like the same yorkie!!...That poor little girl, what she must have been through, it just makes me mad and sad... And Moe's recovery is just as amazing!...That had to have been scary wondering if he was going to recover from poison.... You have done such a wonderful job for the two of them!....They are so fortunate you all crossed paths, who knows where they both would be today..

| Both Moe and Pippy are rescue efforts when we got them, both were meant to be pedigree , well bred pups from good lines, but upon visit to both locations for them, to check them out...we found neglected sick pups. Each time we couldn't leave them there to suffer further, each time we paid full whack for obvious puppy mill pups....Moe required 8 medications and 2 weeks of injections at the clinic before he began showing a turn for the best. Pippy we drove almost 200 miles to get her, only to end up at a squallered place in a run down part of town.Pippy was full of energy and bouncy and smiley and happy when we came through the door..so no matter how she looked and how obvious it was she wasn't some TOP CLASS Yorkie...we couldn't say no....she deserved the best we could give her...as did Moe when he first came.Moe is a pure bred Yorkie, with good lines in his tree...his problem was another you run accross in the breeding world...he was toooo inbred....his family tree ran a bit narrow....hence he has wonky eyes, a few hip problems, and his stomach cannot handle anything but a special diet.Moe was my first, when I got him he was the size of a small coffee mug....how could I of ever left him there to continue being refused the medical treatment he so badly needed? I knew any other prospective Yorkie buyer would see him and think....this is not a show dog, this is not a top class champ....so since my needs were simply to have a buddy by my side..I took him..paid the full asking price, and got him better. We had moe fixed as soon as he was strong enough to have the proceedure done....we wanted no chance of him continuing his line.Pippy on the other hand is a different story. She is what I am now finding after much research a Shorkie Tzu, Her Mother will have been the Shih Tzu we saw on the premisis, it was very healthy looking and very well bred looking.I at first thought Pippy was an ears down Yorkie...but the vet pointed out her teeth..which are Shih Tzu like not Yorkie like. Then I remembered the Shih Tzu at the place and it all made sense.Anyways..no matter where they come from or what thier gene pool is....they are my babies and I love them dearly..they have given me far more than I could have ever given them!
