| I'm new to the Yorkies breed.. I everyone..I'm new to the yorkie breed. I have been around them for awhile because my daughter has yorkies..but I've always had springer spaniels. I've always love that breed..wonderful dogs. When we lost our last Springer my daughter gave us one of her baby Yorkies. My husband and I thought it would be a good idea to have a small dog because we could take him with us where every we go as we couldn't take the springers. We camp and travel alot. Well...have to say we are hooked...lol....I went and picked up Quincy from my daughters and brought him home and handed him to my husband and he threw up on him...now that was funny...but of course not for poor Quincy....my daughter and I live only a few miles away..but that drive was just alittle much for him...but after that he was fine...We love him to death...he has taken over our house and we are his pets...lol...he does go with us when we travel and everyone just loves him. He has such a wonderful personality...even though he is in control...we did have problems when he was younger about urinating all over...grrrrrr...but he has finally passed that stage and I just melt when he crawls up on my chest and goes to sleep...he loves to play and he loves to cuddle...I never could understand how people could get so attached to ankle bitters...*giggles*...but well...we are hooked for sure...Quincy is wonderful..he is a year old now and we just adore him...I do have to tell my Daughter Thank you for Quincy...*smiles*... |

| Hi and welcome to YT. I know you will love it here. Murfee is our first yorkie too and even though I have loved all my other dogs, Murfee has a special place in my heart. We camp with Murfee too. Until the last year (my bad knees) we went camping at least 2 weeks out of every month. Murfee has over 37000 miles on him. I know you will have so much fun taking Quincy camping with you. Patty |
