| Introducing Mama and Daughter, Tudy and Daisy I'm a newbie and this is a wonderful site to show off and talk about my little girls! I come from a family of Yorkie lovers...my mom has had Yorkies for years, my older sister has had them for years, and I finally have two wonderful little girls that I acquired as a "rescue"! Tudy is the mother, she is 9, and pleasingly plump and Daisy is her daughter, she is 6 and just a little tiny bit of a girl. About 6 months ago I was "dogless" and ran across an internet ad looking for new parents to two Yorkies, the ad stated they wanted to keep them together. The opportunity alone for one, let alone two was wonderful! The owner, a Polish elderly lady, had passed away. She had apparently abused them by kicking them around and also yelling at them all the time. A niece had them but couldn't keep them and so I took them and brought them home where we could render lots of tlc and love and the best care available. They needed retrained to go outside right away as we started off with lots of boo-boos but we got through it and for the most part things have been great. They are now bilingual dogs...they understand Polish and English and obey commands in both languages. Here are my girls...I hope the pictures show up...I'm a little green about uploading them. If they don't show I'll figure it out and put them on later. My little Daisy has been sick and I am going to post to the Sickness discussion to see if anyone else has seen this kind of behaviour...very strange and very serious in nature as she is in a lot of pain 24/7....we are not sure what is going on..neither is the Vet after a CBC and XRays. Hmmm...might be a false pregnancy as we learned that Daisy is not fixed...but I don't know the symptoms. Anyone with similarities or knowing what might be going on...please read that post under Sickness and respond...I'm at my wits end and very worried about her. Thanks again and I appreciate this site to the nth degree! |

| Welcome to YT!!! You will find a lot of good info here and lots of nice people and their Yorkies.. I just want to say, you are a wonderful person for rescuing these two little sweeties. I can't imagine what it was like for them to be abused that way, and why anyone would is beyond me. We need more people like you in this world!! Congrats on your two new additions.
