| Busted!!! It's amazing what they will do when you don't watch them for a few minutes. Peanut was BUSTED yesterday - just see the picture below. And to think we thought he was over his shoe-chewing phase. Seems that his taste has just gotten more expensive... He hasen't tried to eat any shoes for over a month. I guess everyone has a relapse every now and then! It is funny now, but it was NOT funny yesterday! That'll teach me to take a nap!

| At least it was just a shoe, right? I guess its kinda my fault for leaving it accessible, but since he hadn't attempted to eat my flip flops or any of my guests shoes lately, I figured he had learned that shoes were not acceptable chew toys, or that he had at least lost interest. Oh well. It can be replaced. At least he is okay...but let me tell you that is not a good way to wake up from a nice nap!!!

| lol, maybe you should just go buy some cheap shoes and lay them around as decoys so he won't chew any expensive ones! My Aunt's dog comes by the house a lot and he's a maltese. I sometimes leave the house without closing the door to my room, so when that little monster comes.. he drags out anything he can find from my closet and gnaws on it. Last month, I bought a brand new sparkly pair of BCBG stiletto pumps for $100.00!!! I wore them once, left them by my closet door and when I come home.. the heel is in his mouth!! I was sooo angry. But, Fred is picking up the habit, too. I wonder if theres any methods to stop them besides replacing it with a toy (Fred prefers house shoe over toy) or spraying it with bitter apple. Do spray bottles work in this scenario? |

| That is too funny The evidence I mean. He even looks cute doing something wrong. I can never catch mine doing anything wrong. From, peeing on my table legs, on the carpet to pulling kotex out the trash etc. We're still in the training process. I am sorry about your shoes. Nothing worse than losing a pair of shoes to the one you love. For some strange reason, the shoes that are torn apart...I still have. I don't know why I keep them. Hey AYork...You're Busted!!! would be a nice thread to start... with the evidence to prove. Gizmo's mom

| Chew Shoes... HAHA Thats too funny. Dinero usually just gets house shoes and I have OSU(Oklahoma State University) ones and my husband just says that Dinero doesnt' like OSU thats why he chews on them. The thing that got him in the most trouble was my mom's Digital Camera card. Didn't tear it completely up...but it did have teeth marks in it...HAHA

Bentley absolutely loves flip flops..i have no idea why...we will be in the living room and he will sneak off into the bedroom and grab one and come running out like it's his prize. whats really funny is, you can just look at him when he has them and he drops it and runs away...its like he knows he not suppose to do that but he thinks its funny!! oh well at least old navy flip flops are only like 3.50 a pair ..but still... all of my flip flops and lil teeth marks all over them

I actually found a piece to my new Treo 650 cell phone in the doggy bed the other day and almost flipped. It must have just fallen out or soemthing because there were no teeth marks on it but I was envisioning my new phone all chewed up! | |
