| Annika's coat has gotten so long I had dreams of Annika being on the next AKC dog show in town slated for May 2007 but due to my hectic schedule, I have decided not to pursue it at this time . Now, I am debating on whether or not I should keep her long coat. She has never had professional grooming and so am wanting to know if I should finally cut it short or even get a trim. I am scared for her as I know she will be so distraught whilst at the groomer No matter how busy I am, brushing is something I try not to neglect so she does get quite a bit of brushing daily I really do love her coat and would like comments on whether or not I should just keep it. |

| Could not resist, gotta take a picture of her face of course. Her face is a bit scruffy so hopefully Jaden is not looking |

| She is absolutely gorcheous and I LOVE the long hair I say keep it long but with that pretty face, she could be bold and still look beautiful

| Her coat is beautiful. My Sophie was full length until she was 11 and then I gave her a puppy cut. It should top the floor and perhaps a very good groomer could just trim her a bit...emphasize a bit. Gorgeous sheen and she looks so healthy. I think you would be sorry if you cut it short although it is so much easier to take care of, but Sophie was stunning with a full coat as she walked.

| PS Perhaps just trim her ears. I kept a battery powered trimmer just for her ears and she was always tidy between groomings.

| she would look beautiful either way however if u dont plan on ever showing her, then you might want to trim it at least (easier to take care of) |

| Wow...she is gorgeous and her coat is so shiny! She'd look good no matter what type of haircut! Short is easier to take care of, but I'd say you've been doing a great job keeping up with the long!

| What a beautiful coat. I think I would just have it trimmed, because you've gone through so much work already. |

| She has a beautiful coat! It has such a nice shine. I think you should leave it long if its not too much work to keep it in that condition. |

| I've been going through the same thoughts Des, about my Joey. His coat is so long and beautiful, but he wears a belly bad. He's brushed 2 or 3 times a day, sometimes more, but I always have to divide the hair for the belly band so it doesn't get wet. I just can't bring myself to cut his hair. Annika looks so beautiful. I know it grows back so I guess it's just a personal decision we'll have to make......someday.
