| Sully in the City I'm a New Yorker wannabe. I admit it. I've always dreamed of living in the big city, having a high-profile job, keeping up with the latest fashions and having to walk a few blocks to see grass and trees.... But, that life and my *real* path in life never truly collided. I have a great life: I live by the beach, have a great husband, a cute dog and a stellar career.....but it's not in the big city. I mean, Charleston is great, but it's not exactly skyscraper-ville. LOL. ANYWAY, my fantasy was realized this past week, if only for a day....I lived the life. We stayed with friends who live in a highrise apartment in New York City, I dressed in black, wore my moviestar sunglasses.....and took my cute little dog on a walk. Before we left, I received an invite from Peanut's Mom (Sasha) to attend a New York City yorkie meetup on Sunday afternoon! Even though it rained, the turnout was great. This picture doesn't show everyone that showed up, but I'm glad I went despite the rain. The first picture is the whole group, and the second is me and Sully with Sasha and Peanut (soooo tiny and the sweetest personality!) It was great to meet Sasha in person - she's great! The third and fourth pictures are of me and Sully on a walk......my husband was my pretend paparazzi. LOL. The 3rd one is one of my favorite pictures from our trip......Sully barked at the chihuahua and right as he jumped in the air, the picture was taken. LOL, the odds!

| You are lucky to have a life like that. NYC is dirty, noisy, and rude. expensive too. I wouild kill for a life by the beach, simplicity and fresh air, no problems of big town, no smell of it too. Infact they can all stick all their fashion and high end jobs up their ass. |

| not a city type My biggest fear in life was to ever have to go to New York City! I am such a small town "country mouse" , the largest town i can live in comfortably is like 60,000......even that intimidates me, but i can cope. When I went to get my visa to live in the UK with my hubby I had to go in person to the embassy in New york City...ALONE!! It was my greatest fear realized, and the most terrible week of my life, nothing against New yorkers, as i know so many very nice people from there, I just didn't know them back then, and being in the big scarey city alone with no one to make me see the other side of it, the side I hear about but don't see for myself...I guess it might have made it better to have known a new yorker back then.Anyways..I am so glad you got to get over to see the other Yorkies and be the New Yorker you dreamt of..and you certainly seem to fit the part quite well in your photos! Thanks for sharing your pics they are wonderful!

And you've GOT to post that last picture in the Old Navy contest. Even if you've already entered, cheat and enter him under an assumed name from a different town. If he wins, I don't think they'll mind. That's very clever and a classic pic.

| DH and I are dying with laughter OMG, these pics are awesome. I'm a total NYC girl (you'd never know living in WI) but the NYC lifestyle is so my speed. When I go to NYC it's hard for me to come home, lol All your photos represent very well. I love it. My fav is the subway one, just b/c the look on Sully's face sticking out of the carrier is hillarious! Too cute.
